USED AUTO PARTS WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 Used Auto Parts provides a three (3) year, parts only, limited warranty. This limited warranty is for a term length of three years from the date of delivery to the customer.

 Used Auto Parts, LLC does not provide any mechanical labor services, and will assume NO liability or warranty in relation to ANY labor costs.

Used Auto Parts, LLC liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer and does not cover any costs associated with indirect/direct consequential damages.

Except for the Limited Warranty as stated herein, in no event shall Used Auto Parts, LLC be liable to the customer for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages. This includes, without limitation, labor and material costs associated with installation or removal of parts, and expenses for towing or rental vehicles, whether based in contract, tort, warranty, negligence or any other theory of liability.

ENGINES:

All engines are run-tested to the best of our knowledge and made sure they are not knocking, smoking, valve tapping, do not have blowby and are free from excessive oil consumption.

Required prior to or at the time of installation: Failure to replace these parts, and perform these processes as recommended by manufacturer before engine is installed or at the time of installation will VOID the warranty:

 

  • Oil
  • Oil Filter
  • Valve Cover Gasket
  • Oil Pan Gasket
  • Rear Main Seal
  • Front Seal
  • Intake & Exhaust Gaskets
  • Thermostat

Recommend replacing but does not affect warranty:

  • Timing Chain/Belt
  • Water Pump
  • Oil Pump

Components covered under the warranty:

  • Block
  • Head
  • Piston
  • Rods
  • Head Gasket
  • Internal components

Components Not Covered Under Warranty:

  • Bolt on accessories
  • Any Wiring-harness
  • Turbos
  • Sensors
  • Pulleys
  • Oil Pan
  • Intake or exhaust manifolds
  • Leaking gaskets (except head gasket) and seals
  • Nuts and or bolts
  • Hoses

Engines do not include and come without:

  • A/C Compressor
  • Alternator
  • Starter
  • Power Steering Pump
  • Turbo (If Applicable)

Engine Warranty is voided if the following occurs:

  • Run Engine without oil
  • Overheat the engine (Blow the Head gasket)
  • Not replacing any of the above requirements
  • Removing head from engine / tampering with engine

TRANSMISSIONS:

All transmissions are run-tested and made sure they are shifting properly to the best of our knowledge.

Required prior to or at the time of installation: Failure to replace these parts, and perform these processes as recommended by manufacturer before transmission is installed or at the time of installation will VOID the warranty:

  • Oil
  • Filter
  • Pan gasket
  • Front Seal
  • Axle Seals
  • Tail Shaft Seals (For RWD Transmissions)
  • Flush Line
  • Install transmission cooler
  • New Clutch, pressure plate, Slave Cylinder (Manual transmission)
  • Fully engage torque converter in front pump.
  • Transmission may need to be relearned, reset, or flashed by dealer.

Components covered under the warranty: 

  • Clutches (Automatic transmission)
  • Governor
  • Torque Converter
  • Oil Pump
  • Drums
  • Plenetaris


Components Not Covered Under Warranty: 

  • Any External Sensor and switches
  • Clutches (Manual transmission)
  • Shifter Cable
  • Synchronizers (Manual transmission)
  • 4 Wheel Drive Transmission will not come with Transfer Case.

 

TRANSFER CASE

All transfer cases are run-tested and made sure they are operating properly to the best of our knowledge.
Required prior to installation:seals and gear oil must be replaced for warranty to be valid. Failure to replace seals and gear oil upon installation will VOID the warranty:

RETURNED PARTS:

All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by Used Auto Parts.

 

OEM parts are interchangeable with multiple years, makes and models, thus the same part is an exact fit for multiple makes and models as determined by OEM standards. We guarantee the part we sell to fit your vehicle.


Incorrectly ordered parts: For all incorrectly ordered parts shipped, you must notify Used Auto Parts within 7 days of receiving carrier shipment via email at . DO NOT REFUSE THE PART.

 

Used Auto Parts will ship and replace, within 30 days, parts not meeting specified part descriptions authorized by the customer. All parts incorrectly specified by the customer are subject to 35% handling and restocking fees, and the customer pays all shipping costs for return and replacement. Unwanted parts must be returned within 30 days of receiving, no exceptions.

 

Incorrect parts shipped by Used Auto Parts will be picked up at no cost to the customer and a replacement will be shipped out or a full refund will be issued when part is returned. Incorrect parts ordered will need to be returned within 30 days of receiving. Returns require a pre-arranged return merchandise authorization (RMA) specifying return address location. Once part is returned, please email us the returned tracking number too. and once the part is received, we will inspect and issue a refund. Parts must be returned in the same condition received.

 

Damaged Parts:

Customers must inspect parts upon delivery and notify AM Used Auto Parts of any external internal damage within 3 business days via email to sales@amuap.com with pictures of the damages including Reference number (Ref#).

 

Claims:

All parts must be installed within 30 days of receiving no exception. In the event a customer does not want to install the part, there is a 30 day to return window, from the day received. If a part fails once installed, the customer’s responsibility is to email a diagnostic with codes and all receipts that show requirements were met. Once a claim is filed, the customer has 30 days to send in the required information to satisfy the warranty terms. Handwritten receipts will not be accepted. Used Auto Parts will cover return shipping on all failed parts within 30 days only. Once a claim has been approved and it is after the 30 days of receiving the part Used Auto Parts will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA#) specifying the return address location

 

Maintenance Requirements:

Acceptable records documenting purchaser’s adherence to the vehicle manufacturer’s required maintenance are required in the event of a claim. Acceptable records must be issued on the date of maintenance, issued in the name of purchaser, be signed by purchaser, be electronically generated, issued by the commercial lubrication service facility performing the maintenance, include mileage, date of service, vehicle identification number, year, make and model, and include a record of payment and service performed. Handwritten information on records, receipts, or repair orders, pertaining to or documenting required maintenance are not acceptable.

 

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Mileage is not guaranteed and is correct to the best of our knowledge. Typical delivery time is 7-14 working days but is not guaranteed. Unusual circumstances may require additional time. All parts are shipped via LTL 18- wheeler trucks. Additional delivery charges may apply unless alternatives are pre-arranged. Deliveries to non commercially zoned business addresses incur additional delivery charges $150.00, and Lift-gate equipped delivery trucks are an additional $100.00.

 

This warranty is not transferable. There is no warranty on the appearance of parts. All refused parts will have a 40% restocking fee and shipping charges of $500.

 

Freight, shipping or towing of a vehicle or anything associated in the way of per diem expenses, storage fees, medical expenses, telephone or rental charges, lost wages or earnings is not covered under this warranty

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Orders cancelled within 24 hours of purchase will be refunded in full. Orders cancelled outside of the 24-hour period, will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. If merchandise has already been shipped at the time of cancellation notice, customers will be refunded minus 35% restocking fee plus shipping charges of $400. To cancel an order please email with your REF# / Reference number (order number).

 

REFUNDS:

All refunds are done via company check. If an order is canceled within the same day, we will void out the transactions. If the merchandise (part) has shipped, or shipped and was delivered, refunds will be made ONLY once the part is returned and inspected

 

CHOICE OF LAW AND VENUE:

All questions concerning or legal matters concerning the construction, interpretation, validity and enforceability of this Agreement, whether in a court of law or in arbitration, shall be governed by and construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, Hillsborough County, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule that would cause the laws of any other jurisdiction to apply. 

 

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS:

In case of a total breakdown of any part, Used Auto Parts’ obligation is limited to repairing or replacing broken covered components covered under this warranty. If replacement of a transmission or an engine or covered components is required and a replacement engine or components is not available, Used Auto Parts’ reserves the right to pay to the customer in cash the cost of replacement engine’s value, not to exceed the original purchase price. Used Auto Parts’, at its sole discretion, may opt to replace parts with another used assembly of like kind and quality. Replacement of any part or transmission or engine covered under this warranty will be considered a repair and will not change the original length of time or term of warranty based on the original purchase date.
